Introduction
The new Devices page provides a clear and detailed visualisation of the accepted devices. This feature helps you find the Name, Local ID (key), Description, Data Source and Location of the devices.
The Devices list has also been moved to the Analysis section, making it visible to more user roles, so you can check device information without needing full admin access.
How does it work?
The Devices page makes it easy to see and manage all your devices in one place. It gives you a clear, detailed view so you can quickly find the information you need. You can easily check each device’s name, local ID (key), description, data source, and location. This simple layout helps you stay organized, understand where each device fits in your configuration, and access details without any hassle.
⚠️ Important: You’ll only see accepted devices here. Rejected or pending ones won’t appear.
The platform also gives you the option to export the list of visible devices directly to an Excel file. You can do this easily by clicking the “Export” button located in the top right corner of the page. This allows you to quickly download all the information you need and keep a local record for reporting or further analysis.
To make browsing smoother, you can choose how many devices to display per page — 10, 20, 50, or even 100. This flexibility helps you view your data the way you prefer, whether you want a quick overview or a detailed look at a larger set of devices, making your experience in the platform more convenient and enjoyable.
How to access?
To access this page and see your devices:
- Go to the Analysis section.
- Open the Devices screen.
- Use the list and filters to review and analyse your devices.
Location filter and analysis
Since the Devices list now lives in the Analysis section, the existing location filter also applies to it.
This means you can:
- Filter the list by specific locations or parts of your portfolio.
- Quickly find devices in large projects without navigating through multiple data sources or configuration menus.
Configuration shortcuts for admins
If you are an Admin or Superadmin, the Devices page also includes shortcuts to configuration:
- Locations, devices, and data sources in the list appear as clickable links.
- By clicking them, you can jump directly to the relevant configuration screen to review or adjust settings.
This saves time and reduces the number of steps needed to manage your setup, especially in complex projects with many devices.
Next Steps
You can now easily see both the location of each device and its data source from the same view. You no longer need to browse through multiple data sources or location trees just to remember where a device is configured.
Everything you need is clearly displayed, helping you:
- Save time when reviewing or auditing devices.
- Onboard new customers or projects with less friction.
- Work more comfortably without requiring admin access just to view device information.
With these improvements, the former “By device” screen is no longer needed and has been removed, as its main use cases are now covered by the Devices list together with the By parameter screens.
