This article explains which types of widgets and dashboards are available in DEXCell and how to configure them. It is divided into the following sections:

1. Types of Dashboards
Nowadays, DEXCell Energy Manager has three types of Dashboards: zone, location and template Dashboard.
- Zone Dashboard: type of Dashboard used to projects with hierarchy, allowing to navigate for different zones and showing the aggregate data of all the locations you have. Hence, you can show data of weekly consumption of our locations aggregated.
- Template Dashboard: this type of Dashboard will be useful for multi-location projects. With this type of Dashboard, you can generate a template with the corresponding widgets which you will use for all your locations. Thus, thanks to the selector of locations you can visualize the information without creating a Dashboard for each of the locations.
- Locations Dashboards: this Dashboard is unique for a location.
In order to create a Dashboard, you have to click on "New Dashboard" on the left of the screen.
2. Configuring Widgets and Dashboard
In order to create a Widget follow this steps:

2. Choose the widget that you want to add on your Dashboard and click "next":

3. Fill the form and click on “Finish”. This process is done with each of the Widgets you want to add to the Dashboard.

Common set up parameters are:
- Name: Widget name. This is useful to identify each of the Widgets created. It has to be unique.
- Parameter: type of widget (for example, temperature)
- Group: you have to indicate which group is acting on the Widget
In each of the Widgets, it will appear the date.
Note: It is advised to start generating widgets after two weeks of receiving data.
2.1 Last reading

This widget displays the latest reading for a device-specific parameter. You can use any device or group and either basic or calculated parameters. It also shows the maximum and minimum within a

2.5 Benchmarking
This Widget allows benchmarking of devices that are part of a group for a specified parameter. It also shows the median of the group. If one of the devices in the group is marked as "total" is not displayed in the comparison.

2.6 Gauge
This widget has 3 different zones represented with 3 colours (green, orange and red) depending on if you are closer to the maximum or the minimum values. You can also, set the thresholds for these 3 zones.

3. Change the background image of a widget
The EMS platform allows customizing our widgets changing the background image. In this article is explained how to do it.
To customize the background image, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account and go to Dashboard menu.
- Create a new widget or edit an existing one.
- Click the option "Use a custom image against the default widget background" to allow this feature
- Click on "Select image" to upload your custom image. The recommended resolution is 200x200 pixels
- Click on "Save"

4. Configuring a Distribution widget
The distribution widget is so useful when you want to visualize the distribution of consumption from different devices from the general. This widget shows the consumption distribution for the selected devices over the main location consumption for the desired period.

2. Once we have the group created, we go to Dashboards and click on "New widget"
3. Write a distinctive name, select the parameter you want to visualize and the group previously created:

The pie chart shows the proportion of consumption that each device is within the general in a period of time.
4. This widget can be configured in Location Dashboards.
