This app has been substituted by its updated version: Microgrid app
For this reason, we are not maintaining this app and it is not available in the Apps Market.

In this article you will learn everything about the Solar View App. This application of DEXCell Energy Manager allows you to measure and control the solar energy generation of your solar plant. In addition, it allows you to differentiate which percentage of the consumption represents the self-consumption and the sales to the network.
This application is divided into 2 different screens: Configuration (under location > edit location menu) and Analysis. In this article we explain each of the screens to be able to use the application correctly!
1. Configuration
Device settings
The first step is to identify which concept represents each of your measuring devices at the Solar plant. In this case, we have:
- Home Meter: Device that represents the Building energy consumption
- Irradiation Meter: Device that represents the solar radiation
- Utility Meter: Device that represents the company meter (imported and exported energy)
- Solar Meter: Device that represents the solar energy generation
- Tº Meter: Device that measures the temperature of the installation

Installed Power - Properties
Installed nominal power and peak power (in kW)
Monthly Generation Estimate [kWh]
In this table, you can enter the monthly estimate of generation in kWh to be able to compare it against the actual measured generation.

2. Analysis
Self Consumption
In this "Self Consumption" tab we can visualize which part of the consumption represents the self-consumption and the sales to the network.

- Location: select the solar plant to represent
- Dates: select the time range to display the corresponding graph
- Frequencies: frequency to use in the graph (instantaneous, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or annual). In the case of selecting instantaneous, Self-consumption and grid power values will be displayed.
- Graph: Green will show the Auto Consumption, in Orange the generation exported to the grid and in Gray the normal consumption (indicating that there has been no solar production). We can visualize these data in bars or using the pie chart
- Export: we can export the data in Excel or .png (image)
- Summary table: Below the graph, we have a summary table of the corresponding graph
Generation
The "Generation" tab shows the comparison of your power together with the solar irradiation, the external and module temperature and the performance ratio.
- Graph: in yellow the photovoltaic power is shown, in blue the indoor and / or outdoor temperature
- Export: we can export the data in Excel or .png (image)
- Summary table: Below the graph, we have a summary table of the corresponding graph
Year comparative
The "Year comparative" tab shows the energy on a monthly basis compared to the defined forecast or the previous years in case of having real-time data.
