Schneider PM9C quick install guide

 

To follow this guide you will need:

  • 1 x DEXGate
  • 1 x PM9C
  • 1 x USB-RS485 adapter
  • 1 x Computer
  • 1 x Ethernet Cable

Installation:

  1. Install the current transformers following the following diagram:

  2. Connect the orange USB cable to the D1 B/B' connector, the yellow cable to the D0 A/A' connector and the black cable to the 0V connector:

  3. Power up the meter
  4. Access to set up menu (pass: 0010)
  5. Reset meter values
  6. Select connection scheme
  7. Configure current transformers factor
  8. Verify bus speed (by default: 19200)
  9. Configure ModBus address
  10. Power up the DEXGate
  11. Connect the USB-RS485 cable to the DEXGate
  12. Connect the Ethernet cable to your computer and the ETH1 port of the DEXGate
  13. Access the web administration interface of the DEXGate (http://172.16.0.1)
  14. Log in (the default username and password are admin/admin)
  15. Go to the "Bridge Configuration" section
  16. Edit the line:
    devices.schneider-pm9c=
    to look like this:
    devices.schneider-pm9c=10
  17. where "10" indicates ModBus meter address
  18. Save
  19. Restart the Modbus bridge or the DEXGate
  20. You're done!
