Benchmark widget

Follow

In this article, you will learn how to create and visualise the Detect - Benchmark widget for a chosen location or zone.

Introduction

If you want to show different KPIs out of the Benchmark of our Detect module in the Dashboards, you might be interested in this widget.

The Detect - Benchmark uses the Single KPI and the Gauge widget types to display relevant information like the Efficiency Score or the Efficiency Potential.

Requirements

You need a location with a reference meter correctly assigned with data. If this location is correctly grabbed by our Detect module, the same benchmarking that is displayed in the Detect screen will be displayed in this widget.

Configuration

  1. Go to Dashboards.
  2. Edit or create a Dashboard.
  3. Choose the source of data Detect - Benchmark.
  4. Choose the widget type. Either Single KPI or Gauge widgets are available.
  5. Choose the reference meter type. Only the Main Supply is available in Detect, right now.
  6. Choose the KPI to display. The Efficiency Score and the Efficiency Potential are available.
  7. Save

Available types of widgets

For this type of data, there are two Widget types available: the KPI widget and the Gauge widget.

Click here to learn more about the different widget types and also about general modifications that you can apply to a widget, such as changing the title.

Widget in detail

The widget displays the KPI selected, for the last period where the Detect module has been able to calculate their data. The Detect period is always a 1-year period. You can have more information on the following Detect article.

KPI: Efficiency score

This KPI can be displayed using both the Single KPI and the Gauge widget types, and shows the Efficiency score for the selected building in the hierarchy level.

KPI: Efficiency potential

This KPI can be displayed using both the Single KPI and the Gauge widget types, and shows the Efficiency potential for the selected building in the hierarchy level.

As the widget follows the reference meters, it can be used to aggregate the KPIs of multiple locations depending on the Hierarchy level selected, as it happens with the Widgets by Reference Device.

In case some aggregation is performed, the widget calculates the mean of the efficiency or the potential from the selected portfolio.

NOTE: have in mind that the widgets work only with well-configured locations, or upper hierarchy levels containing them, not with sub-locations.

And that's it, let's start reporting Detect outcomes through the Dashboards! 🚀
